Commissions FAQ

How do I commission you?

  1. DM me on Instagram with details of your requested piece.

  2. I will provide a tentative quote. This may involve further discussion or preminimary sketches.

  3. Half-deposit of money must be made upfront.

  4. Each client will have up three updates of commission progress and three revisions.

  5. Second deposit made upon confirmation of finished piece.

  6. Once full price has been paid, unwatermarked commission piece will be sent (digital) or mailed (traditional) to client.

What should I describe when commissioning a piece?

When commissioning a piece, it is helpful for me to understand details such as:

  • What subject do you want to be drawn?

  • Which medium (e.g. digital, watercolour) and size (e.g. A4) are you looking for?

  • When do you want the commission by?

  • Do you have any reference pictures that show your subject or portray the mood?

And of course, the more detail you can provide, the more accurate my piece will be to your vision!

How much does a commission cost?

Examples of prices are listed here, but may vary depending on factors such as:

  • Size of piece, medium (for traditional)

  • Number of subjects

  • Presence/absence of background

  • Amount of detail (e.g. trinkets, jewellery, fabric)

What are updates and revisions?

Clients can request up to three updates while the commission is in progress. An update generally includes a clear image of the piece in its current state. The artist may also give the client an update without affecting the number of update requests remaining.Clients can request up to three revisions upon seeing the artist's updates.

How does payment and shipping work?

Accepted forms of payment include bank transfer, paypal, and cash (when appropriate).Shipping is paid out of pocket by the client. For smaller pieces, this typically will be $2 for domestic, and $4 for international clients.

What can you draw?

I can draw pretty much anything I have a reference for. I can accommodate both realism and stylistic art.
